Celebrating Halloween in Rome in 2025: Best Parties & Events

Looking for inspiration for how to celebrate Halloween in Rome? Italy’s capital has a range of thrilling events and activities that guarantee an unforgettable night. From spooky ghost tours to epic bar crawls and special Halloween parties, Rome has something for everyone.

Here’s everything you need to know about Halloween parties in Rome, and how to make the most of your night.

Join a Seriously Scary Ghost Tour

Thrillseekers should start their Halloween adventure with the Rome Ghost Tour. You’ll explore the historic centre’s haunted streets and mysterious locations, and hear terrifying stories about executions, murders, beheadings and even a deadly fountain! ⛲💀

This tour is one of the most exciting Halloween events in Rome, offering sinister insight into the city’s darker history. Make sure to book early as spots fill up fast!

DJ Sets and an Open-Air Party in Testaccio

📍Largo Dino Frisullo snc, 00153

For a fun, budget-friendly night out, head down to Testaccio’s Città dell’Altra Economia for Rome’s biggest open-air Halloween party — Gasometro Halloween 2025.

Step into 3,000 square meters of magic, where witches, wanderers, and night owls gather to dance beneath the stars. Expect:

  • 🧙‍♀️ Open-air main stage with DJ sets
  • 🍺 Covered bar & street food area
  • 🥯 Halloween Street Food Fest serving spooky bites
  • 👻 Dress code: classic Halloween

Doors open at 4 pm. Entry is free until 10 pm and €10 after.

Get Tipsy through a Costumed Bar Crawl

Book our famous Tipsy Tour Rome Bar Crawl through the district of Monti. Once known as “Suburra”, this was the former red light district of Rome, where your guide will tell you stories of sex and bloodshed!

A Tipsy Tour is the best way to experience Rome’s nightlife before heading to the big Halloween parties. Whether you’re travelling with friends or solo, our bar crawl is a great way to meet new people, enjoy drinks, and get the party started!

Attend a Spooky Screening at Largo Venue

📍 Via Biordo Michelotti, 2, 00176

This year, Largo Venue celebrates 50 years of The Rocky Horror Picture Show — the cult classic that turned glamour, madness, and freedom into an art form. So don your best Halloween costume, hop in an uber, and join Rome’s young and ghoulish in the trendy neighbourhood of Pigneto.

Their awkwardly-translated event — 💋 Let’s do the Halloween again! — starts from 10 pm and spans three rooms of Rocky Horror chaos:

  • Main Hall – The Ballroom of Transylvania: Pop, dance, and explosive hits with DJs Claudia Tucci and Michela Mattia. Expect drag icons and “creatures of the night” shaking up the floor till dawn.
  • Rumah Room – The Lab of Sound Creation: Techno and electronic experiments worthy of Frank-N-Furter’s lab, with Tompi and Phonola at the decks.
  • Acquario Room – The Rebel Rock Room: Distorted guitars, indie and punk energy for rock lovers who want their Halloween loud.

Tickets cost €20.70 and can be purchased here through the DICE app.

Go Genre-Bending Clubbing near the Circus Maximus

📍 Viale delle Terme di Caracalla 55, 00153

Get swept up in a storm of global sounds and exotic rhythms as Uragano Revue returns to Angelo Mai for a two-night Halloween celebration of world music and electronic fusion.

🎃 Friday, October 31

Headlining tonight is Clap! Clap!, bringing his signature global dance beats, joined by MC Yallah, the Kenyan-Ugandan rapper who blends multilingual flow, experimental electronics, and futuristic rhythms. Performing alongside French producer Debmaster, she promises a set that’s as fierce as it is boundary-breaking.

🔥 Saturday, November 1

The party continues with Chancha Via Circuito — the Argentine master of folk, electronica, and cumbia — bringing tropical warmth and hypnotic grooves straight from South America.
