If you’re going to do a tour, why not see the city like a local?

Perfect for solo travellers, couples, or groups, our Barcelona walking tour is the epitome of discovering the magic of the city. Forget about mundane city tours and experience the heart and soul of Barcelona as we unveil its hidden tales, and fascinating past. The best part? Along the way you’ll get...

Barcelona’s got Gaudí, sangria, and sun-kissed beaches. But once the sun clocks out? The city gets weird. Really weird.

Grab your bravest mates, put on your bravest face, and join a local guide on a haunted night walk through the Gothic Quarter and El Born. We’re talking bombings, burnings, exorcisms, serial killers, and a bridge you’ll never walk under the same way again. Your guide will spill the tea on the darkest history behind sites like Plaça Sant Felip Neri, the cursed Liceu Opera House, the ancient streets of El Call, and the infamous “Exorcist’s House” in El Born.

Every cobblestone has a story. Most of them end badly.

Fair warning: these stories tend to follow you home. Into your dreams. Maybe even your nightmares. Still keen? Book now, if you dare.

Tour Highlights

  • Meet Your Guide

Find your guide in Plaça Reial. Look for the yellow “Carpe Diem Tours” sign. If you see someone suspiciously enthusiastic about ghosts, that’s probably them.

  • A Soul in This Square Still Lingers

This buzzing square seems harmless enough, but listen closely. Those aren’t just drunkards you’re hearing. A story of heartbreak refuses to rest, and frankly, neither will you after hearing it.

  • The Show’s Not Over Until a Fat Bomb Strikes

The Liceu Opera House looks stunning, but it’s basically cursed. Every twenty years, disaster strikes. We’re overdue. No pressure.

  • Dracula’s Got Nothing on This Vampire

Raval’s always had a reputation, but today’s pickpockets have nothing on the serial killer who once prowled these streets. Sweet dreams.

  • A Pine Tree, a Pact, & an Eternal Footprint

This Gothic Basilica has a creation story that makes most horror films look tame. One pact. One terrible ending. Zero refunds.

  • Fancy a Spot of Poison?

It doesn’t look like much. That’s the point. Inside this unassuming house lies a legend of love, lies, and a generous helping of poison.

  • A Beautiful Bridge, a Baleful Backstory

Barcelona’s most Instagrammed bridge has a legend so lurid, you’ll think twice before walking under it again. Or at all.

  • (Un) Lucky Number 13

In a narrow corner of the Gothic Quarter, a small figure sits encased in glass. She’s Barcelona’s patron saint, and her death took twelve failed attempts before the thirteenth stuck. Persistence, eh?

  • Ashes Ashes We All Fall Down

This quiet square and its bullet-scarred church have seen horrors from the Franco Regime and Civil War. Stand still enough, and the walls might just whisper back.

  • These Faces Are Stone Cold

Behind the Cathedral, stone creatures are supposed to scare off evil spirits. But look closer. Some of them are... different. And not in a fun way.

  • Careful , or You Might Get Axed

King’s Square: great for photos, terrible for your sleep. Beneath your feet lies a former Inquisition execution site. Smile for the camera?

  • Faces of Pleasure

These aren’t your average gargoyles. These cheeky stone faces hint at Barcelona’s scandalous underbelly. Spot one, and you know fun is nearby.

  • Paranormal Poetry

This apartment building housed a poet who dabbled in the paranormal. He exorcised his demons on the page and, apparently, in person too.

  • This Bride is Practically Screaming Her Vows

The Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar has seen plenty of weddings. But one bride’s scream still echoes through the neighbourhood. “Till death do us part” was taken rather literally.

  • Money Hungry Much?

At the foot of Passeig del Born, greed and ambition cooked up a murder. The legend it left behind? Absolutely delicious.
