You’ve heard of the Seven Wonders of the World… but did anyone tell you Portugal has its own edible version? On our award-winning Lisbon Food Tour, you’ll try three of the seven wonders of Portuguese cuisine, no passport stamps required (just an appetite). We’ve taken care of all the planning, so you can skip the queues and dive straight into the good stuff, zero stress, all flavour.

Led by a local foodie guide, you and a small group of fellow snack enthusiasts will hit up three of Lisbon’s tastiest hidden gems in the historic Baixa neighbourhood. You’ll nibble on traditional petiscos like Portuguese presunto, chouriço, and seafood, all washed down with four classic drinks—including the country’s beloved Ginjinha liqueur and the iconic vinho verde (aka green wine).

And because no food tour is complete without dessert, we’ll finish on a sweet note before sending you off into the night with a full belly and some new foodie friends.

frequently asked questions

What is included in the price?

Get ready to taste a variety of traditional Portuguese dishes and drinks, including 3 of the seven wonders of Portuguese cuisine! You’ll also explore Lisbon with a foodie expert who’ll tell you all about the city’s culinary history while you're hanging out with fellow travellers.

Can children join the tour?

Totally! Our food tour is fun for all ages. We’ve got non-alcoholic drinks for the little ones or non-drinkers, so it’s a great way for the whole family to have fun and meet other travellers along the way!

How much walking will we do?

We’re all about the food, but there will be some easy walking between stops. Don’t worry, no walk will last more than 10 minutes. Just throw on some comfy shoes and get ready for a laid-back stroll through Lisbon!

Can we pick what we eat?

The menu’s mostly set, but you’ll have a chance to pick your drinks at some spots. Got any dietary restrictions or allergies? Just give us a heads-up and we’ll make sure to sort you out with alternatives. Our local guides are super passionate about Portuguese food, so they’ll make sure you’re happy with your choices.

Can I still join the tour as a vegetarian?

Absolutely! We’ve got vegetarian options, though they might be a bit more limited than the full menu. Right now, we can’t accommodate vegan or gluten-free diets, but let us know what you need in advance, and we’ll do our best to find options that work for you.

How long does the tour last?

The tour runs for about 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to dig into Lisbon’s flavours and soak up some foodie knowledge about the city’s culinary culture.

What if it rains?

Rain or shine, we’re going ahead! We’re hoping for good weather, but if it rains, we’ll move most of the tastings indoors, so you’ll still get to enjoy everything without a hitch.

How big are the groups?

We keep it small and cosy, with a maximum of 20 people per tour. This way, you get more personal attention from your guide and a better overall experience.

What if I'm picky and I don't want to eat certain foods?

No worries at all! If there are foods you’d rather skip or if you have specific needs, just let us know before the tour, and we’ll find tasty alternatives for you.

Are the drinks included?

You bet! You’ll sip on local drinks like Ginjinha and "green wine," or you can choose non-alcoholic options if that’s your thing. Oh, and we recommend bringing a bottle of water to stay hydrated along the way.

Do I need to speak Portuguese to enjoy the tour?

Nope! Our tours are in English, and our guides are fluent locals who can’t wait to share the best of Portuguese cuisine with you.

Can I upgrade to a private food tour?

Yes, we do! Want a more personalised experience? Contact us to upgrade to a private food tour of Lisbon, perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or corporate events. No matter your vision, we’ve got you covered!
