Welcome Drinks
Your Tipsy Tour starts in a picturesque park on the banks of the River Arno. Meet your guide and host, enjoy some drinks and sit back and relax as your guide gives you a fun, fact-filled intro to Florence's darker history.

Spritz Bar
As you explore, your guide will wow you with stories of the powerful Medici family, their lurid affairs and their passion for poison. But at our first bar we’ll be drinking something more pleasing to the palette: a traditional Campari or Hugo Spritz. By drinking spritz you’ll be taking part in the truly Italian tradition (other include terrible driving, excessive hand-waving, and continuing to wear sunglasses after dark.)

Scandalous Stories & Traditional Drinks
As we travel from bar to bar, your guide will immerse you in the bloody tale of the Pazzi Conspiracy, where Lorenzo de Medici and his companions were attacked (and some murdered) in Florence's cathedral on Easter Sunday. After hearing the gory fate that awaited the conspirators, you’re going to need a stiff drink - which is why we’ll be ducking into another bar for some more Italian spritzes or cocktails!

Wine Windows
Next, your guide will introduce you to one of Florence’s oldest traditions: the wine windows (because who doesn’t want to be served wine through a window!?) Discover the fascinating—and, as you’ll find out, all-too-familiar—history behind their invention and try some local, limoncello (or something similar) that the secret bartender will serve through them.
